CANBERRA: Prominent Aboriginal leader Senator Pat Dodson has signed an Affirmation of Support backing the Joint Justice Initiative for national recognition of the Armenian, Assyrian and Greek Genocides.

CANBERRA: The Joint Justice Initiative of Armenian-Australian, Assyrian-Australian and Greek-Australian advocacy groups are calling on their respective communities to phone their local Federal Senators and encourage them to add their signatures on Affirmations of Support, which would declare their solidarity with the cause of national recognition of the Armenian, Assyrian and Greek Genocide.

CANBERRA: Jason Falinski, the Federal Member for Mackellar, has reaffirmed his longstanding support for Australian recognition of the Armenian, Assyrian and Greek Genocides by signing on to the Joint Justice Initiative of the Armenian-Australian, Assyrian-Australian and Greek-Australian communities.

CANBERRA: COVID-19 forced the Australian National Commemoration of the Armenian Genocide to go virtual this year, but that did not stop a record number of Federal and State Parliamentarians joining growing calls for a change in the national position on the Armenian Genocide, which the Armenian National Committee of Australia (ANC-AU) labelled "untenable".
