WELLINGTON: The Armenian National Committee of New Zealand (ANC-NZ) has thanked New Zealand Young Labour, who recently co-signed a statement recognising the legitimacy of the Treaty of Sevres and calling on Turkey “to begin the process of eliminating the consequences of the Armenian Genocide by initiating the restoration of the rights of the Armenian people”.

CANBERRA: The Federal Member for North Sydney, Trent Zimmerman MP rose in Australia's House of Representatives to condemn Azerbaijan's recent aggression "under the cover of the pandemic" against Armenia and called out Baku's threat to bomb the Metzamor Nuclear Power Plant as "extraordinary" and "not acceptable", reported the Armenian National Committee of Australia (ANC-AU).

We all watched in horror as a port hangar exploded on August 4th, resulting in over 135 deaths and 5,000 injuries to date. Sadly, the explosion was in close proximity to heavily Armenian-populated towns, including Bourj Hammoud, Khalil Badawi, Hadjin, Mar Mikhael, Achrafieh, Antelias and Beirut, resulting so far in a count of 11 community deaths and over 250 injuries.
