Advocacy Focus

The Armenian National Committee of Australia (ANC-AU) is the largest and most influential Armenian-Australian grassroots organisation, representing a 60,000 strong community.

Working in coordination with a network of offices and supporters throughout Australia, the ANC-AU actively advances the interests and concerns of Armenian-Australians.

The ANC-AU’s core advocacy objectives and activities include:

• A Sustainable Armenia: Promotion of development of Armenia in Australia;
  
  
• Recognition of the Armenian Genocide: Federal recognition of the Armenian Genocide;
  
  
• Peace and Security in the Republic of Artsakh: Promoting the right to self-determination for the Republic of Artsakh;
  
  
• Support for Armenian-Australian Community: Supporting community projects and humanitarian initiatives; and
  
  
• Outreach: Motivating youth activism in the Armenian-Australian community.
